Crunch - Joy of YogaIn this video, Sara Ivanhoe leads students through a fairly well-rounded workout that should provide challenge beginners and intermediate students. Each pose is performed a number of times; each time with slightly different variations providing a logical progression of increasing difficulty. Other students show other variations on each pose, including numerous modifications so all people may access some form of these poses.
Sara uses extremely non-threatening language and speaks in a fairly calm, personable tone. A calm soundtrack accompanies this video to produce an overall relaxing workout.
Good variation for beginners and intermediates. In particular, this is an excellent short workout (42minutes). Good abdominal sequence for upper, lower, and side abs. Vinyasa flow feels a little crude, particularly moving between each sequence. Also a bit light on upper-body, extensions, and spinal twists.
However, I would not recommend this as a first introduction to yoga.
